Take a Ride in Living History

Before flying begins at the 2024 Wings Over Batavia Air Show, guests will get the unique opportunity to purchase a ride in the National Warplane Museum's C-47 "Whiskey 7"!

"Whiskey 7" was built in 1943 and served overseas during WWII. It participated in a number of important missions, most notably it led the second wave of paratroopers on D-Day 80 years ago. Today, there are currently very few warbirds flying that actually served overseas during the war. Places such as the National Warplane Museum put in countless hours to keep these living pieces of history flying and it is because of their dedication that we are able to bring this aircraft to our show.
